This is a funny word I found when I first opened my etsy shop back in 2018 at the age of 19. It felt like a leap of faith and like something that wasn’t going to work out for me. However, it was something I wanted to do. Cacoethes felt like the perfect name to do it with. I’ve since closed that etsy shop—not because it was the failure I feared it would be—but because I outgrew it.
